Trading Racks new or used racks, to suit your needs

If your inventory is getting higher and you need more space, we can offer you to trade some of your existing tire racks for racks enabling you to lace or weave tires.  Contact us, we will help you. By trading, you could store 20 to 30% more tires per square foot.

If you are having more SKU numbers, think about getting tire folding cages to put the tires on the tread and not piling them on a pallet, this will help you have a better control on your inventory. Whatever the reason, we can exchange new or use racks for your used tire racks.

Tire rack outfitting options

Beware of new or used wooden pallet stack racks.  It’s a low cost solution but not a high value one!

wooden pallets with steel frame

First they don't assemble or disassemble as quickly or easily as it might seem. You would rarely dismantle those racks, and after a while, if you did, the probability that you end up having a stack of broken pallets and a mix-up pile of steel frames is pretty high. The tire stacking frames and other wood pallets break and need to be repaired, especially when you need to move them often. Wood chips will be all over the floor and your employees will loose time repairing the wood bases.

Steel pallets on the other hand are made to stack, being outfitted with stacking cups and targets.  Many security inspectors or fire department will refuse the installation of wood tire stacking frames. We strongly recommended that you get in touch with them before getting the racks to avoid any bad surprises. A warehouse outfitted with steel tire pallets might have lower insurance costs.
